Lars Grael taken part under Argo's flag to the most important events of  the Star Class happened in the first six mounts of this year..   

3rd – 8th January 2008 South American Championship (Lars Grael got the first place) 

2nd – 7th March 2008 Bacardi Cup in Miami 

2nd – 4th May 2008 Brazilian Championship (Lars Grael got the first place) 

3rd – 8th June 2008 Eastern Hemisphere Championship in Croatia - Split  

11th – 18th June 2008 European Championship in Hungary - Balaton  Lake

20th – 22th June 2008 Trofeo Benetti in Italy - Viareggio 

2nd – 3th August 2008 Summer Brazilian Championship in Brasil - Rio de Janeiro (Lars Grael got the first place) 

Trofeo Benetti, in particular, is one of the most prestigious international trophies of Star Class. This year all the best athlets have taken part to this event since the regatta field of Viareggio is very similar to Quindao, where the XXIX Olympiads will take place in August;  

Lars Grae has been protagonist more times of The Class Star Championship, the European Championship and the Trofeo Benetti. In more than an occasion he has cut for first the line of arrival in front of best sailors that they will be protagonists to the next XXIX Olympic Games in Peking.
